I've just completed directing Cascando as part of my college course. Your take on it is interesting....why did you omit the character of "Opener"? The dialogue changes didnt do it for me, but good job, the script is a hard one, one which was never meant for the screen.

Thanks for viewing--all limitations and alterations to the script came from time/personnel constraints. We are just a couple of hobbyists that tend toward Beckett. I loved this script from the moment I read it simply because I feel that the repetition lends itself to creative possibilities. I loved the idea of this guy drifting further and further away, a product of modern alienation. But that's just my take on it. Did you stage the piece? How did it turn out?

Well, I hate to admit it, but the music I used was just a classical piece that I played backwards. As far as the ambient sound track goes, it was something I threw together with garage band on my macbook. If you are interested, I could send you a copy of the soundtrack as an mp3 (I could try emailing it-it is a little big) or I could send a copy through the post along with the longer cut of the film. I have been doing this kind of thing for fun for, oh, almost a decade. Strictly amateur.

Thanks for the feedback. This piece by Beckett was so captivating that I couldn't help but try to do something with it. I made a 14 minute verison, with all of the narration, but it was too long for youtube.
