omg that was so traumtic for me when i saw it for the first time - it actually hurt me more than it hurt him - i so wanted to just chuck in and save Superman.

Some people complain that Hackman played Luthor too campy but I love how smug he was. He's the smartest guy in the room, he knows it and he wants everyone else to know. And he's going to kill millions without blinking an eye, he just doesn't care.
