To the people who are saying Jeff does not play for the song, they must be listening differently to the rest of us! Jeff is one of the very few more technically accomplished players out there, who really DOES play for the song / instrumental. All his solos are very lyrical and never drift into wankdom territory with nothing to say, like so many other guitarists do. Jeff has beautiful phrasing and chops, and never forgets the importance of strong melodic content either. Jeff is a GOD!

Dude, if Kollman was as 'unimpressive' as you think he is - why would Glenn play with him? Why would Phil Mogg from UFO make records with him? Jeff is a guitar god, an amazing songwriter, and an all around killer musician. Listen to $ign of 4 - 'Dancing with St.Peter', Mogg/Way - 'Chocolate Box', Glenn's 'Songs in the Key of Rock', Cosmosquad - 'Squadrophenia' or Jeff's last studio album, 'Shedding Skin' and then come back and tell me you're still not impressed. I don't think you will.
