Light the Night Leukemia Walk, Rye Playland - Rocco Campanelli Honorary Hero

It had been 6 years since Rocco was diagnosed with Leukemia. During Rocco's treatment years we talked of having a huge party at the end of 5 years when he was finished and considered cured. We wanted to celebrate his journey and his good health as well as get together with all those who supported us during that challenging time. The timing for this party was never appropriate because of other family member's illnesses.

So when the Leukemia Society asked us if Rocco would be the Honorary Hero for the Light the Night Walk, we thought it would be the perfect way to celebrate, get together with friends and family and do something much more fun and meaningful then hot dogs at our house!
