Great Video, and a question for you how does the trencher work when it come up to some good size tree roots ? I have a LT-102 for my bobcat and have to trench a gas line to a new pole barn and there are some good size trees in the area i am going to be trenching through ??? Thanks

I just bought a 414 bobcat trencher with a 8" by 5' dig depth. I want to install drain tile. You think I can do it. (North Dakota)
Is that a high flow machine? if it isn't, would it operate better under high flow?

@askdrdurham All depends on the depth your cutting. how hard the ground is, how many rocks you run into, etc... I wouldn't say it real fast but it makes a nice neat trench and you have less dirt to take away and use a lot less stone in the trench.

@varmitr ~ how fast can it trench.... feet per minute?

I just rented this trencher a few years ago. It was a Bobcat brand and has bullet teeth.
