Sex is bad and dirty and gross! Guys, you only care about sex, and are jerks because of that, but should never marry anyone but a virgin. AND YOU MUST ALL CHOOSE MARRIAGE! Girls, you hate sex! Don't let yourself be pressured by those boys! You must keep you virginity, or you will be a disgusting slut forever! Even if you wait to marriage, you may not want pregnancy. So do we tell married couples to continue with abstinence until it's time to conceive?
There are better ways (even in marriage) for birth control other than abstinence.
Back in the early 60's, sex education was comprehensive without the scare tactics. What in the world happened to our culture. We're just a step away from returning to the stone age when it comes to sex education.

My Girlfriend and I both consented to protected sex at age 15.
There have been no negative repercussions, if anything we're much happier with each other. The release of sexual energy is healthy, teaching abstinence is like teaching a kid potty training to hold it in.
