  • If i had to mic up a gun it'd be with a condenser for sure!

  • @snapascrew If you could get one that could handle the spl it wouldn't be a bad idea, I did like the bass from the d112

  • Wow. Now that is EXACTLY the application for which I was intending to use them! I'll keep this video handy if we ever have a firearms shootout in the control room.

  • LOL! I went to see a mic shootout and I got a literal mic shootout.

Ironically it was from you guys. How's it been? - Matt

  • @IntoTheVoidTheBand Ya, I just figured the attack of the gunshot would be heard better on a condenser and ya for sure you'd have to have it at a safe distance...

  • Hee hee I love it

  • @IntoTheVoidTheBand Uh, well, they didnt trig their kit, they just played samples of explosions like at the end of their songs or at the beginning like in No Guts, No Glory, the explosion at the beginning, they basically reused that damn thing like a hundred times in other songs.

  • @blashyrhkRAAA Hahah dude that's be awesome do you have any links to those guys on youtube? I'd like to hear that

    Cody

  • @IntoTheVoidTheBand What would be cool is if the whole drum kit was trigged to firearm sounds that sounded similar to the sound the drum part makes, so a snare would be a small high pitched fire arm, the bass would be a big motherfucking canon and the cymbals would be flashbangs going off. Reminds me of bolt thrower, they always had the same explosion recordings in almost everyone of their songs.

  • @blashyrhkRAAA Lol that'd be pretty sweet might have to try that one
