Whoa those are freaking huge glasses. I still have this book in my bookshelf to read. I like reading about different opinions. I started it and the mother already annoyed the shit out of me in the first few pages. I don't know why I haven't read it yet.

I think I'm the only one that didn't like this book. It seemed full of cliches and the metaphors were so cheesy. The characters seemed inconsistent as well. Soo many chapters of the book were dedicated to Alex thinking of how much he liked Brittany, and how he would do anything for her. Then out of nowhere he's like, "I don't like her. This is a bet." I was like," Where did that come from?" Also, I normally like mush, but this was way over the top.

On a good note though, I love your reviews!

I thought the same thing of the cover before I read it and then all the recs came in so I bought it. It's my fave of her books!

I just read it, & I adored it! I totally agree with you, I would not pick it up if it were not for the crazy amazing reviews everywhere. And the ABC family referral, I felt the same way. At some points it was predictable, but I wanted to read it anyways :P

@VanillaTwilight346 Is the sequel any good? I mean, I've heard from a lot of people that it is... but I can't bring myself to read about Alex's brother. I don't know. I looooved Alex so much and Carlos is just whatever to me. I don't know if I would want to read it.
