This is terrific. I love the stereotypical cigarette.
It's also funny because Glenn doesn't sound like you'd expect him to sound. I guess he doesn't sound artsy fartsy at all. He just sounds like a regular guy.

these are obviously interns. let me interview glenn branca for print. these are good answers for obvious questions. let's really pick his brain.

It is pretty great to hear him speak on... any number of things here, I suppose. Not terribly eloquent, but a violinist acquaintance told me how much he enjoyed his beer and young women. There were some real gaps in some of his arguments, but I wholeheartedly agree with the limitations of Cage's concern with art-as-politics. Every time I listen to "Indeterminate Activity..." I find myself disagreeing with a fair amount of Cage's points (who was brilliant)... and I'm just a laymen comparatively.
