@RTFMDudez hmm, i had Windows XP 32bit with 4 gigs of ram, then i installed windows 7 64bit and the windows 7 was faster :P

@Dimitar175 It reads it, its just you have a cap of 4 gb, but windows allocates 1 GB of memory to nothing but background software. So it will tell you 3.75 GB usable. Check up on google and it will tell you the same. I do computer tech.

@D3ATHBYFIR3 Battlefield 3 works on 32 bit system. It doesn't work with Windows XP, though

@RTFMDudez 32-bit doesn't read more than 3GB

@Gerardo203 No 0 Bit does rofl

32 bit is dated, in 2007 yea it had alot of compatibility problems but these days everyones building around 64bit and abandoning 32, battlefiled 3 is a good example of this, only working on 64bit

@RTFMDudez sorry I meant you can't go past 4 gigs with x86. It did sound like I meant 8 gigs was the max. That wasn't my intent. Thanks for clearing that up.:-)

@GodKillerAtheist Actually, 32bit can run a 4gb max, 64bit can run 192 gb depending on your version of OS. In my case im running 16gb of ram in windows 7 ultimate. heres a chart showing the comparison
Version Limit on X86 Limit on X64
Windows 7 Ultimate 4 GB 192 GB
Windows 7 Enterprise 4 GB 192 GB
Windows 7 Professional 4 GB 192 GB
Windows 7 Home Premium 4 GB 16 GB
Windows 7 Home Basic 4 GB 8 GB
Windows 7 Starter 2 GB N/A
