Pure capitalism and "freedom" can destroy the best Republic. Media interests conglomerate and brainwash the people, money buys corrupt politicians...and the people get looted. Its already happened in America. Chavez needs to be creative and find a solution to abject capitalism. That's as destructive as a centrally planned state.

I felt sorry for Chavez after we tried to coup him. Now it looks like he is trying to be a demagogue on the subject as he sweeps to take power.
