Surprising support from passers-by, lot's of honks and thumbs up. A few thumbs down and unbelievably a few flipping the bird. What the hell is that about? Even if you disagree with this or any other rally why would you flip them off?
Anyway very positive turnout and fun event and it was nice to see when we got home later that RP campaign took in over $6 million for Tea

This news video doesn't really show the huge crowd of 50+ sign wavers. I couldn't believe how many supportive honks and thumbs-up we got from people driving by. Very encouraging!!

Way to go Eugene! You should add the apostrophe in "Let's take back our country"; otherwise, excellent. Hopefully everybody watching realized you were just dumping _leaves_ in the river. :-D
We had a GREAT party in Portland, but I don't think any mass media showed. We did get a lot of footage of our own though, so watch this space. ;-)

This was great!! A local TV station reporting about the Tea Party is just the kind of thing that is needed. All politics are local...screw the national news..hit the local stations and newspapers when events like this are happening.
