Cartagena, Colombia - Youth With A Mission Base on Bocachica

I flew from Medellin to Cartagena to spend a few days working with the Youth With A Mission Base on Bocachica. The Base has a number of full time staff who work on community development projects to improve the health of the people. They also have an infirmary, library for the children, feeding center and are building a large clinic that will serve the whole island. I walked around the town, visited the Fort and played with the kids down by the waterfront. I also had the chance to work of the Mercy Boat which will someday spread their work all the way down the coast of Colombia. YWAM is doing a wonderful work here for God and the people of Bocachica. I was here with a Missions trip to Barranquilla. We made a detour to Cartagena and then later to Boca Chica. I anticipate to return very soon! It's cool to see some publicity about this lil' island! God Bless
