Hmm have to try compiz on mine just for the fun of it other than that im running a slimed down ubuntu version with fxde, light weight desktop.

I have the same netbook, and I would really like to know how did you enable Compiz effects and if after that the pc is slow or fast. Thanks!
Mine is running Ubuntu 9.04 netbook remix, it's possible to enable these effects?

Did the wifi work correctly after 9.04 installation?

nice whats the battery life like with ubuntu I just got mine i dont know what os i want to install osx win7 or ub9.04. Im thinking whatever one gets the best battery life
