Okami [Pt. 116]

Ammy heads inside the tower, and meets Contraption Maker Gen. She gives him the Gimmick Gear, and he asks her and Issun to watch. She summons a thunderbolt, and his contraption starts up. Gekigami, god of thunder, appears before Ammy and allows her to use the technique: Thunderbolt. She then teleports back to Shinshu Field.

Gen's Tower is in the Aristocratic Quarter. Say you enter the area from Rao's room, and go straight towards the Queen's palace, turn to the left just before you get there and investigate the back of one of the towers (it has a fence around it). There will be several cat climbing statues that will allow you to get to the top and into Gen's room.

I raced Ida, but didn't get Gimmick Gear. :/ I raced him like twice... -.- But nothing. Nothing.

You need to race and defeat him 3 times.

Okay, so I figured it out for Wii kids (I don't know if you want to put this in your artist's comments or something), you need to hold Z and move the wiimote back and forth. Don't worry about the shape, it's the general zigzag motion you need.

I have the wii version and I absolutely can NOT get the thunderbolt. My game always thinks it's a galestorm or it just doesn't recognize the brush strokes at all. Bahhhhh...

By the way, you dont need the gimmick gear. Just use the thunder edge insted.
