Detroit Tigers at Oakland A's on Easter Sunday in 1996. This game is being played in Las Vegas at Cashman Field. The A's were playing the first six games of the season at their Triple-A affiliate as the Oakland Coliseum was undergoing renovations. Tiger broadcaster George Kell is having problems with the desert air and his partner Al Kaline ribs him for it. Jim Price is also part of the broadcast team.
George and Al were the best.

The Tigers were sooooooooooo bad that year, but I loved them dearly. Their lineup included Curtis Pride, one of only two deaf players in the history of the game, and the incredible Andujar Cedeno, who was quite possibly the worst defensive shortstop in the history of the game.

this was the year that Raiders moved back to Oakland and the renovation at the Coliseum was delayed, forcing the A's to start the season in Las Vegas.
