@MUROPY Its the young ones that have strips, older ones lose the stripes and are covered in small black spots

@maxzappa yes, when zebra sharks are kids the have strips but as adults they have spots, hope that helpt.

I recall reading something about shark's tail fins:
Fast swimmers like the Great White and Mako have lobes that are roughly equal.
Tight turners like the Thresher have a larger upper lobe.
And bottom swimmers like the Nurse and Zebra have virtually no lower lobe.
Anyone who's studied them, feel free to correct me.

Attemped mating probably interuped by divers, you can see the one that swam around was a male

I dont know why, but I love this shark's caudal fin.
I think it's because it's different than most other sharks.

It's true that when they are young they have a zebra pattern. But when they are older, it forms into spots.

im not so sure..., i swimmed with one too, it was sleeping and we woke it up, it was kinda pissed at us and followed us for some time. :)
