Here is another great Cole Porter song. The guitar is a 1946 Gibson ES 300 with a prewar headstock. After digging around for info, this one is likely among the first built at the end of the war making it one of the first with the P90 pick-up. This guitar is mahogany, not maple, and that also supports the idea of being among the first when production resumed. Unfortunately, I could not record it loud enough that the warmth of the guitar would come through, and the mic in the camera picked up as much sound acoustically as from the amp.
