Here I am attempting to play the Dickey Betts solo on the Allman Brothers Band classic One Way Out. I'm playing an American Strat through a Fender Blues Jr. with a Blues Driver pedal. Thank you for watching!

  • Nice job and nice Strat. It has a nice shine to it. You did a good job trying to get a Les Paul tone out of a Strat, so thumbs up.

  • @tomcon21 Yeah I like it too. Very much like the record which is closing night at the Fillmore I think. And the crazy thing is Dickey Betts only played that particular solo on "One Way Out" one times. I've seen the ABB many, many times going back to 1970 and Dickey played that solo differently everytime. And Duane played his solos differently each night too. Back in the late 90's, the last years Dickey was allowed to be in the ABB by Butch and Gregg, he played Strats. One looked a bit like your
