This was one of the saddest episodes of Cold Case I've ever saw. DAMN CBS for taking Cold case off!

Postpartum psychosis is much more severe. That's what causes hallucinations and also sometimes causes mothers to harm their children (in rare cases),

Ok look. The baby, Iris, was born prematurely. & after that, the mom got very paranoid with her baby & would always check on Iris and stuff. That affected the parents love life & the dad said it was sometimes a burden. The mom started getting PPD (postpartum depression) which causes your fears in your mind for you to actually act them out. It was snowing so she took iris & laid out in the snow & fell asleep. When she woke up, she realized what she did.. She killed her baby. Bitch.

This episode just ended a few minutes ago on our tv channel. I didn't watch it but I heard this beautiful song and I also think that Cold Case is one of the best police tv shows ever. And I'm not a huge police tv shows fan. So sad ending.

This so heartbreaking. First that poor baby was born premature, and then her nutjob mother tried to kill both off them by exposing them to cold weather only the have the sick mom survive. What really pissed me off was that Baby Iris parents said the she was a burden to them. It is shame we can't pick our parents.

The mother took her out on to the front lawn in the snow & laid down with her to die (attempted murder / suicide)...but she didn't die, the girl died from exposure.
