maybe the pidgeon was dying, its not normal that it stays where it is when a dog is there... mabe he was sick or something. anyway, lovely dog :D

Well, that makes sense, we live in one of the only other cities of similar density and quality of public transit- Chicago.
Now that I think about it, though the general theory was that it was juvenile or sick (with disease) bird, I wonder if perhaps it wasn't poisoned?

Yeh, Hilde's always trying to play with all the wildlife she encounters... even the mouse we briefly had in our apt.
Pigeons aren't exactly known for their superior intelligence!

Thanks, they bring great joy to our lives... and the lives of most people they encounter. In a recent video (I think its the first of my "Foggy Edgewater" series) they finally encountered someone who didn't succumb to their charms, but that is VERY rare!
