This is the very first raw recording of a very simple song I wrote for children attending a local Ayyam-i-Ha celebration. After sharing the song with family and friends, I was encouraged to share it with others, although this was never my original intention, especially as I have not had the chance to improve upon it.
I wrote the lyrics and music in about five minutes and recorded it in one. The lyrics are simple and offer an uncomplicated explanation of the purpose of the festival of Ayyam-i-Ha which I see as having a dual nature in which charity/service and love/unity are emphasized.
Usually my songwriting encompasses an entirely different audience and genre all together but I share this with you -reluctantly - and offer no apologies, despite how cheesy I even think this song is. With my 3-year-old niece it was a huge hit. Share it with the children you know, sing it, change it, make it better, enjoy.

Lyrics:
It's Ayyam-i-Ha
Ayyam-i-Ha's here
all the boys and girls can cheer
It's a time for love and charity
a time for peace and unity
It's a time for laughter
and a time for fun
It's Ayyam-i-Ha
and its just begun x2
The days of Ha
Have arrived
Rejoice and feel alive
It's a time to help your fellowman
time to be joyous and lend a hand
It's a time to sing His praises
and celebrate as one
It's Ayyam-i-Ha
and it's just begun x2
please give us chords so that we can play in our feast.......
