Not rip off really, it's a really good exercise for developing off beat snares with double bass...Yes that didn't make any sense to me either.

definitely. its a good exercise for getting individual use of your limbs. i think thats what you mean. also another good one to us is alternating hand blast beats, but you have to use both feet in order to get the effect.

For the last one if he kept playing the snare and bass without pausing, and instead of ride playing the crash, and pausing in the crash like he did with the snare and bass, it would have sounded like ace of spades.

I dont give a shit how can something be almost a rip off? its either a rip off or not. I dont know if you have only one song on your ipod but if you havent fucking noticed by now, songs use drum beats that sound the same when compared to eachother. He's not "almost ripping off" anyone, he's playing a god damn drum beat that another band coincidently plays

i think you have anger management problems. you might want to see a therapist about that. but that is like someone using the intro beat to through struggle by as i lay dying. you could use a beat that is similar to that one but im sure you would get sued for using it.
