Herman Cain came up from mean street, where "acting white" can get you a beatdown, or worse, so where is the stereotyping coming from? I think Mister Cain is just who he is: Herman Cain. I don't vote for skin, but what's within & it's a sin to hate your neighbor, so I think Mr Cain has done a lot for his neighbors: gave them a strong role model, not Black, not white...just a good neighbor doin good for others. @ExposingUncleToms Anyone who calls himself ExposingUncleToms needs to understand that calling someone an Uncle Tom can also be insulting. Sorry, but I see Herman Cain as more of a Frederick Douglas type person. Douglas often insulted his white audiences when trying to shame them into doing more to end slavery. Reading Black History can teach us all something about structures of sin, and how sin causes moral blindness.

@ExposingUncleToms Mr Cain thinks Blacks are captives to the Democrat party, and compares it to the mentality of many slaves, who knew nothing other than slavery. I think that's a fair analogy. The only caveat to that I'd have is there are just as many white folk with that same slave mentality.
