@PhXSuNs6281 In my opinion, Carly is his true love and not Brenda. ALthough neither of them will compare with Lily, who was (at least in Sonny's mind) a saint and (after she was dead) his true love. between Carly and Brenda, I'd pick Carly, but honestly I think with all his madonna-whore complexes, Sonny only really loves SOnny.

@PhXSuNs6281 I don't believe he cheated on her in the jungle. The docks was only a kiss. It still sucked for us CarSon fans, but he was never technically unfaithful. I can also point out many times during their 2002-2003 "reunion" when they got together JUST to talk about how much he loved Carly. He never even entertained the notion of cheating with Brenda or leaving Carly for her, and now that he's married to Brenda he's still willing to risk things with her to help Carly.

That was the era of F-ed up writing. I couldn't see Sonny cheating on Carly then or now. And as for the way they look at each other, I guess that's subjective. I was never enthralled nor saw any particular outstanding chemistry between Sonny/Brenda. You're an S&B fan so of course for you no one compares but to us Carly is his soulmate and no one will ever compare to the relationship that they had.

noone compares to carly????? must be joking..idc about carly..u tellin me sonny would have cheated on brenda multiple times in the jungle and on the docks? nope tht was with brenda on carly so yeah..nobody compares w brenda..just the way they look at each other..their eyes do most of the talking most of the time

Because him and Carly have been to hell and back with each other. When Sonny met Brenda he liked her instantly compared to Carly onto whom he hated. Some of the best relationships start off that way. And there love was indeed a classic.
