  • Beautiful plants and great video Mark, you’re certainly doing something right. I like the flour mill……Donald

  • @webcajun Thanks Donald! The whole flour things is very interesting. In the 1920s when we started commercially milling flour, we noticed that if we removed the germ and bran, the flour would not spoil. However, everyone started getting sick so in the 1940s we added back "some" of the nutrients to get what we call enriched flour today. However, fresh milled flour is SO much heather for you. One of the higher sources of Vitamin E which we don't get a lot from other foods. - Mark

  • Growing stuff in late fall is wonderful : ) A patch of lettuce and turnip greens sprang up several weeks ago, and are very delicious!

  • @Helioforge I totally agree! Some many of the vegetables are actually sweeter after a freeze! - Mark

  • Your mill sounds like a jet engine

  • snow peas are where its at!

  • Nice fall garden! Many of my crops are about gone here in west Tennessee. We get considerably colder than you, earlier. Still got lots of greens, turnips, and "salad stuff" though. Love the flour mill! Where do you buy your wheat?
