For this bracelet you will need 5 strings (3 different colors and 2 of the same color) at 65 inches long. Set up your strings as usual by folding them in half to form a loop to tie your bracelet on.

Set up your strings as follows: 1 2 2 3 4 -fold- 4 3 2 2 1

For my bracelet 1-Yellow 2-Black 3-Pink 4-Blue.
(In order to substitute your own custom colors replace the color I have written out by adding your own behind the number. EX: 1-Yellow could be 1-Green)

Pattern:

1. Join Middle (5L & 5R)
2. 5R ~ 3 fk and 1 fk/bk
3. 5L ~ 3 bk and 1 bk/fk

4. Join Middle (5L & 5R)
5. 5R ~ 1 fk then 1 fk/bk
6. 5L ~ 1 bk then 1 bk/fk

7. Join Middle (5L & 5R)

8. 4L fk over 5L
9. 4R bk over 5R
10. Join middle (5L & 5R)

11. 2L ~ 3 fk
12. 2R ~ 3 bk

13. Join middle (5L & 5R)

14. 1L ~ 4 fk
15. 1R ~ 4 bk

16. Join middle (5L & 5R)

(Left Triangle)
17. 1L ~ 2 fk then 1 fk/bk
18. 1L ~ 1 fk/bk
19. 3L ~ 2 bk

(Right Triangle)
20. 1R ~ 2 bk then 1 bk/fk
21. 1R ~ 1 bk/fk
22. 3R ~ 2 fk

23. 5R ~ 4fk
24. 5L ~ 4bk

25. Repeat from step #1 for pattern.

Variation of this pattern - Gradient Style (Monochrome OR Colors can be used!)
1-Dark Gray 2-Black 3-Light Gray 4-Medium Gray.

To finish your bracelet separate the tail into two equal parts. Braid each of the sections (Until they are about 2 1/2 inches) and then tie an overhand knot to secure the braid.

To wear just pull one of the braided tails through the loop and then tie the two braids together.

  • Your knots always look perfect!

  • @karahhhhx3 Keep practicing and yours will too. It took me a very long time to 'master' bracelet making and I still get mixed up sometimes. You are making tons of knots... so even for masters there is also a chance you will goof on something. =P

  • @beyondbracelets Hey! I was wondering, is it normal for the first diamond to be smaller? I figured because it was closer to the top knot. Thanks :D

  • @thehottiezofhotchip Yeah, that's normal. The top knot condenses the knots and makes it really deformed- happens to mine all the time. It takes about three rows for the knots to settle and spread out.

  • this is gonna take forever to finish

  • @Slimeya Yeah, it can take a bit of time.
