How many pound where you running at this point before you built the engine? I've got a billet 67mm turbo and wouldnt mind knowing a bit more about yours.. possibly a link?

@MEERKATmichael 1.8bar on uk pump fuel, i forgot i had the boost restricted to 1.3bar in top gear though, would have been faster.

@jamieprice123 Hmmm, see here in australia.. we may be more 'cautious' or uneducated.. but alot of tuners feel uneasy going past 18-20 pound on the stock 2jz.

I've seen countless american and a handful of uk supras push 24-28 pound on the stock block.. head and all. Is there something im missing or need before i ask a confident tuner he can take it to 26 pound?

@MEERKATmichael Its always a risk going with that much boost, some get away with it and some dont, ive ran stock engines at 2 bar before but did bend a rod on a top speed run, some claim is was hyrolocked thats caused the bend, maybe missfire but i can say i never felt a missfire, other say just overstressed,, a good mapper and a good ecu helps, ive always ran syvecs for the last 3 years.
