Some of the comments here are hilarious --not only do people not understand that boxing in the nineteenth century was very different than it is today, they think that the fight scenes they see in modern movies (such as G.Ritchie's Sherlock) are "realistic" with their stuntmen, creative editing and cgi effects.

@HarryplusHermione I like Robert Downey Jr, but Brett and Cumberbatch are my favorite Sherlocks, both with their own unique take on the character.

Now that is a barfight!.Holmes is so badass in this scene and the fire poker scene in The Speckled Band.Love Holmes whatever he's doing but when he gets physical it's awsome because it's such a surprise as he's normally not like that.R.I.P Jeremy.
