Saw the Syndicate around this time at Kuumbwa in Santa Cruz with Roger Biwandu on drums, 2 sets... the first set was awesome, and just before the 2nd set mad pot smoke started billowing up from the backstage area and into the room - the band basically completely hotboxed the entire place. The second set was fucking transcendent...

I saw syndicate in 2007, Zoetermeer
This music has a very enthralling effect when listened to live.. when it was finished no one wanted to leave the place because that would mean parting with the music just heard. Incredible.
