I put a six pack of 12 oz. diet coke bottles in the freezer for two hours and once I opened them, they froze solid, though they werent frozen before? Try it if you dont believe me.

This is completely true. i saw it on mythbusters and it works with any type of bottle apart from a can. (if you can call a can a bottle...)

Its because the CO2 bubbles stop it freezing but when you open the bottle the CO2 is released, and so it can freeze. It does it so quickly because it is at a point where it should be frozen.
