  • Thanks A. J. I really appreciate your fast response to my queries. For question number 4: I change the zoom level in the navigator but it only allows you to either show you the pic in only two ways: normal size and the zoom level you specify. In PS you click ctrl-Z and you can click several times to zoom to the level you want. Is something similar to this in LR ?

    cheers.

  • @pitopo2002 - no unfortunately, LR does not have a graduate zoom. You're either zoomed out or zoomed in at the level you specify.

  • 1st THANX for this series!!! a fantastic tool for undisciplined folks like me - who can afford/digest incremental minutes of continuous learning vs. long formal sessions :-)

but more specifically to this video, i believe - as filtering works on no (ZERO) stars, it would b more correct to say the star rating is really six possibilities, ZERO through FIVE (not one to five) - no?

  • @etacsik - you're welcome. I've never thought about it, but yes I suppose if you counted No Stars as a choice, it could be seen as 0-5 stars.

  • Thanks for this video A.J. !!!

Some questions about it : 1- how do you remove a pic from lightroom but also from the disk. Is that possible ? 2- When I am in LR my cursor is always in zoom mode. How can I change to the arrow ? 3- how do you selected the pictures without selecting the one in between ?. Finally 4- in PS when you type ctrl-Z you can zoom in a picture several times. Is it possible to do the same in LR (here I can zoom in one time only) Cheers.

  • @pitopo2002 - 1. As shown in the video, deleting a photo presents a prompt. If you choose to Remove an image, it is not deleted from disk, only removed from the LR catalog. Choosing Delete from Disk will do just that. 2. There is no way to change the cursor, the default is to Zoom or Hand Tool depending on your view. 3. Use the CMD (CTRL on PC) to select specific images. 4. Look at the Navigator panel (top left) to change the Zoom level. Default is 1:1 view for Zoom in.
