  • what feed pump are you using and do you have the water right at the black bayonet fitting? Because i do and have my air tap opened all the way just like you and i am producing wet skimmate. So that leads me to think you are running a much lower water level.. Very interested because i would like to get skimmate like you are. thanks!

  • It's powered with MaxiJet 250 that is 250 l/h. On 500 l/h i had water in cup. But you have to see what water lvl is suitable for You, becous i seen other apf 600 running on 500 l/h well to.

it is not Royal Exclusive so it is louder. When i have cabinet closed i dont hear it, but you have to clean air pump regulary.

If i would be buying new skimmer now i would consider ATI PowerCone 200 or 250. 250 has air flow of 3500 l/h, i measured my deltec apf 600 and it has 750 l/h. For example Buble King 200 has air flow of about 1500 l/h.

Consider buying ATI skimmer instead of Deltec. :)

  • is it loud?
