That was just stupid stupid stupid... I would've gone around long before you even crossed that threshold.

Fast landing, otherwise not bad at all.

go around....

whoa!

....and kinda hard to see with shakey cam and all, but.... you also appeared a bit high. yes, saw the trees but again, res on this is grainy, and can't see good enough to determine if your height was correct glide path to compensate for Obstacles on approach end. sorta looked the opposite: you were high. which necessitated a "dive" at last second down to the numbers, then, a "float" to bleed your excess speed, most of the runway. never good, when you go into the Chevron's! lol!

You have got to be pretty despaired to do that.

I was just gonna say "how is this a bad landing?" Then the camera started shaking like Michael J. Fox

Lol I bet at least half the people talking trash on here are flight simmers and the rest have done equally as bad in real life themselves but kept it well hidden, and aren't admitting it so they can big themselves up :o) You did right to post this ;o)

this is the clear result of approaching to an airport and been scared even worst be the pilot in command

Would you like a cherry with that float?
For sale: One cherokee seat. Slightly stained.
When you're told to aim for the numbers, it's the ones on the APPROACH end.
I think you lost a few heat shields on re-entry.
Drop anchor! Drop anchor!!
I agree with you. Go-arounds are WAY overrated.
I just saw your whole life flash before my eyes.
I think you did that airport a favor; that part of the runway hadn't been used in years!
GA aircraft now arriving at gate three..gate four..g
No bad landing...just bad approach...and kudos for the pilot posting this. Great lesson for us to learn from. A go around was definitely called for but this posting might save someone's life...certainly a mistake to learn from. Thank God for giving mercy for days like this :)

Definitely something to show students. A real good lesson in the "go-around" and why they are required practice. Hopefully whoever performed this got a good scare and learned a lesson from it. It will be one of those moments that he/she learns from and carries with them the rest of their flying career.
Thanks for posting it. We all know that they aren't all pretty.
