The Pamina Trio is because of her three-time 1 Prizes at the international chamber music competitions (at the 7th International Chamber Music Competition in Vinaros, at the 5th International Music Competition "Marco Fiorindo"in Turin and at the 5th International Music Competition "Les Corts" in Barcelona) one of the most successful ensembles of young generation. After its foundation by the japanese violinist Ikuko Kitakado, the spanish clarinetist Beatriz López and the japanese pianist Keiko Hattori in 2004, the extensive studies with Prof. Alois Brandhofer, Prof. Benjamin Schmid and Prof. Cordelia Höfer made her early start of the international career possible. The Trio performs regularly in Austria, Germany, Italy, Spain and many cities in Japan.
The Pamina Trio ist for years a guest artist at international music festivals and concert series for chamber music such as the Setmana Internacional de la Música de Cambra in Montserrat, Temporada de Musica de Cámara in Santa Cristina d'Aro (Spain), Musica Viva in Salzburg (Austria) and Cyushin Concert Series in Nagoya (Japan). In addition, the trio made a successful concert tours in Spain (through Catalonia and the Balearic Islands) and Japan (including Tokyo, Nagoya, Gifu, Kyoto, Osaka and Takamatsu), which was obtaining the best critics in the most famous japanese music magazines.
The trio fascinates the public with the characteristic, contrasting formation by three different instruments (string, woodwind and keyboard instruments) and offers them a unique sound experience. The focus of her work is in modern and contemporary music.
