  • What model and where did you buy the temperature gauge?

  • @wetweasel56 Wow, so many stupid things jammed into one message. Do you realize that the reason why you want to evacuate the humid air is to prevent condensation, which weakens the insulation? Obviously you don't otherwise you wouldn't have said that.

  • @dogfan4lyfe....are you really expecting me to believe that? No matter how good your insulation you will still lose some heat. Humid air doesn't affect insulation. In winter the humidity level drops quickly because cold air doesn't hold humidity very well.

I would call you an idiot but why add to what everyone already knows.

  • @wetweasel56 If you have good insulation, you won't be losing your heated air to your attic. The importance of good ventilation is to evacuate humid air so there's no condensation which can render attic insulation ineffective. Try growing a brain before you comment next time, idiot.

  • put a thermostatic switch on it and save that heat that is being pulled out of your attic in the winter.
