Maazel's case is a true unbeliavable, amazing "unicum" in human history: during such a long career (almost 80 years on stage), he wasn't able to understand music and could not learn at all what conducting is. Very few persons would reach such an incredible result. He is like a miracle! Maybe only Sir George Solti got so close to the same guinness.

My God! The baritone looks like a monster. But he sings very well. The music is amazing.
