Game Music Appreciation Theater - Maniac Mansion

Hey everyone on this episode of GMAT its Maniac Mansion brought to us by Jaleco and Lucasfilm Games now known as Lucas Arts. Now this is one of the greatest point and click adventure games to ever come out and even though alot was changed for the nes version the game is still brilliant. The soundtrack is one of the most diverse among all 8-bit games. Every track in Maniac Mansion is great and it was hard to pick just five songs but I tried. Enjoy!!

Were the other kids themes considered in your choices that werent included in your 2 p.i.t's? Just thought it was a little coincidental that the tunes matched your p.i.t.'s.

They were I just went ahead with those, I actually have footage of the other characters since I did a run with them for the bonus video I am going to put up. Jeffs theme probably should have made it over wendys now that I think about it but they are all good.

Dave's theme is just awesome! But i like Michael's and the Ed family theme alot too. Maniac Mansion was such an all around good game. Funny thing is this game used to scare one of my friends when he was younger lol.

Hahaha! You broke the vase. I'm always quick enough to turn off the record play just in time so it won't. Since if the tape gets at least a split second of the recording, it's good to go.

The composer of the game's music is Andy Warhol. It's one of his better work. However he often used a method that pitches the square wave down. It's very annoying, at least for me.
