Teachers in an Underwater Astronaut Trainer at the Advanced Space Academy. This tank was designed and built by Homer Hickam. The object that looks like a bowling ball is over 100 lbs.

  • I was in space academy july 3-8...the fireworks were cool, but i was a year young to be in advanced space academy, so I didn't get to do the UAT

  • @bugaboo444 Perhaps you will get to go back for the advanced space academy. While you were there I was in Florida to watch the final shuttle launch.

  • I think I took that video of you! --this is Tammy,

  • @DustNunchakuKing Hi Tammy! I remember you. Sorry for not responding soon, but I've been very busy. I will be going to ISTE, and I was invited by NASA to view the last space shuttle launch from the press site. How have you been?

  • @saradeanna It's a great place to have diving classes. That was my first time SCUBA diving. I was there for about a week with a bunch of teachers, and then they flew us down to the Kennedy Space Center for a few days. It was fun acting like astronauts.

  • @Timasu It was a lot of fun, that's where our diving classes were held. 24 feet deep and constant 86 degrees. We enjoyed showing off for the public. FYI, That white ball in the beginning of the video weighs 100 lbs.

  • @saradeanna Cool! How did you like it?

  • I've been in there =)
