The Strangest Ridley Fight You Will Ever See *READ DESCRIPTION*

This is me fighting Ridley on Super Metroid, using the chainsaw beam glitch to kill him very quickly. Although this may look slow, that's only because it lags so much every time you fire a shot. I believe that this is the fastest way to kill Ridley on a 100% run (impossible on any% and low% due to lack of proper supplies), and can be very useful in a Suitless run.

WARNING: Do not watch this video if you have epilepsy and/or have ever had a seizure. This glitch causes some rather intense flashing, although this run didn't get the worst of it since I didn't miss any shots.

Materials:

At least 1 reserve tank
X-ray scope
At least 10 missiles
At least 10 super missiles
At least 12 power bombs
Wave Beam
Spazer
Plasma Beam
Spring Ball (recommended)
Space Jump (recommended)
Gravity Suit (recommended)
Speed Booster
8 energy tanks (recommended)

Procedure:

1. In the room before Ridley's lair, jump into the lava to get your energy down to 5 or less. Make sure the door to Ridley's lair is open, the X-ray scope is equipped, and that your reserve tanks are on Auto mode (and you have at least 1 energy unit in said reserve tank).
2. Press start, go to the Samus menu, and equip only the Wave and Spazer beams. Go over to the speed booster or Space Jump, then press left and A simultaneously to equip the Plasma Beam and Spazer at the same time.
3. Unpause the game, and lure a bee-like enemy out of the lava. Go in the door to Ridley's lair, and make sure that the bee hits you as you enter the door. This is not as hard as it sounds.
4. After entering the door, hold the run button. The X-ray scope and reserve tanks should activate at the same time. Once the reserves have finished emptying into your main energy tanks, you can let go of the run button and equip your Power Bombs.
5. Pause the game, and de-equip both suits. Immediately go under Ridley's platform and morph into a ball.
6. Do a crystal flash under Ridley's platform, as far to the right as you can (this makes it so that he can't hit you).
7. Immediately jump out of the lava and lay a power bomb. This will cause a permanent power bomb bubble to remain on screen, and will cause Ridley to stay in the upper right or left corner of the screen and not move (his power bomb reaction mode).
8. This part needs to be executed perfectly. If it's not, you may miss a shot, and if that happens no other shots will register afterwards (which will basically stop your attempt at killing Ridley right then and there). You also can NOT get hit unless you have more than 8 energy tanks, otherwise you may not be able to kill him in time. Jump up to where Ridley is, and tap the Shot button while slightly inside Ridley's sprite. This will deal around 1500 damage to Ridley (the equivalent of 2.5 Super Missile shots, or 1.6 charged Ice+Wave+Plasma shots) for each time you hit him.
9. Once you run out of energy, your reserve tanks will activate and the permanent PB bubble will end. Immediately jump to the top of the room and re-equip your suits. If you've hit Ridley enough times, he will immediately die. If not, finish him off with a few more shots from missiles/supers/charged shots.

During the fight... Look at the top left. The tiles stand out, as if there's a door there.

Well, every time ingx shot the beam, it showed a secret door there! I really wonder, Where will it go? The secret worlds no one ever saw?

I only did this in MZM.But with Varia,bombs(not used),missles(used mostly),super missles(all),and barely any beams.And I killed him with about 2 energy tanks out of 7(in Ridley)
