Sen. spoke today to express his strong opposition to the detention provisions in the defense authorization bill.

It would have been nice to have seen some Wellstone-style passion in his words against the hideous and unnecessary bill proposal. Hard to do if you end up voting FOR it though, I suppose. I'm sorry, but the thing is an absolute outrage in my book, and some try to say he voted against it - that's not the infamous 93-7 vote record I see.

Within the first 15 seconds, the Senator is already displaying his corruption by asking to vitiate the quorum, which is in fact required by Article 1 Section 5 of the Constitution. Where is the respect for the Constitution? And, to top it off, he voted "yea" for the very bill he is criticizing and censuring!

If the "Terrorist" hate us for our freedoms and would like to destroy our way of life then who are the real "Terrorists" ? Police who assault non violent protesters, our elected leaders who pass bills that are destroying our freedoms or the main stream media who indoctrinate us with fear and ignorance. 911 was an orchestrated event used to manipulate through fear the "Hearts and Minds" of the American people. Until we stand up against this Psyop we will never be free.

This bill is likened to the Patriot act, TSA, Fema centers. Those of you supporting this trash should be the first to go. What is wrong with you all - I have a copy of the Declaration and Articles in my hand - have you ever looked at it. We are systematically being robbed of every civil liberty we have for BS security. Those who trade freedom for security deserve neither. TSA abuses every commuter because of an incident that happened over a decade ago. 911 consp - colbertreport check it out.

My guy Al with some good words here, but it is puzzling and disturbing that he voted for the bill. Or was a form of the amendment put in? What's going on with this crazy bill?! And Carl Levin has always seemed decent enough until sponsoring this bill. WTF?

It's incredible to me what's happening in the U.S. If we survive this fascist movement, we need to seriously look at what's in the water, what's in the food, what's in our medicines - why are Americans are becoming so fantastically stupid? Our nationwide dropping of I.Q. isn't just an odd side story - it's serving those who would rob us of all our rights and our democracy. It could cost us everything.
