I guess thew sound for a concert would depend , loud rock maybe distorted, sth else could be ok. Optical zoom is not possible in videomode, you also autofocus only once at the start of the video so things that were not in focus at that time will become be out of focus. You can counteract this a bit with an high F setting on manual.

The S90 videomode is maximum 640x480 so no 'wide' screen.
