Ours Corgi looks to be about the same size and the vet told us 28 lbs is max for them

@TBL4 Ha ha, I totally understand that. Skootar's 5 now and we've had him since he was a puppy. He's um...I think 43 pounds now. And he's lost weight! xD
Aaaanyway, he's gotten a lot better, since he can expertly get on the couch and go up the stairs now without a hitch. I'm not too worried anymore...and thank you so much for your help. ^_^

@starlightandwander I am getting him as fat as possible so that I can slaughter and eat him for Easter. The little one will be his replacement. Duh.

How much does Mac weigh? My corgi Skootar is the same size as him but is overweight at the moment (xD) and we can't find anyone who has a corgi the same size as him to figure how much he's SUPPOSED to weigh...could you help me?

@77DarkButterfly He weighs about 32-33 pounds and the vet wants him to lose a few. Males should weigh closer to 27 pounds or so. Corgi weight can get out of control very fast. They love snacks and are notorious beggars. Their long spines make weight problems a real hazard for the breed, though.
