The Niobrara is an incredible experience to canoe. Even in summer the water is cool and clear due to being spring fed. Smith Falls is a place you could spend several hours alone.

Cherry County, Nebraska is a great place to visit. I have relatives who live in Valentine, Nebraska, and I enjoy visiting them every time, since they are my favorite relatives. Other then both Smith Falls and the Niobrara rivier, there is also Fort Falls and Snake Falls in Cherry County.

i used 2 live there thats a awsome hike we walked it every other weekend in the summer :D

I love Smith Falls! I was amazed to find this in Nebraska. I've lived here most of my 50+ years and saw it for the first time, in 2004. Thanks for posting. I need to get back there again.
