At the end of Mary Shelley's 1819 story of the man who recreated life, Frankenstein pursues his Creature to the Arctic. On the frozen plain, he attempts to kill it. The Creature overpowers and now, helpless, he must hear the Creature's demands.

Frankenstein may be imagined bound hand and foot, gagged and tied to a chair. The Creature stands behind him.

A classroom exercise from Kemsley's Dickinson's drama workshops in Dubai, UAE, 19 June 2008. .
