These three videos, currently featured on 'YouTube', are ESSENTIAL. PLEASE LET IT BE KNOWN AROUND YOU that one recent, vitally important, conference of the INET (Institute for New Economic Thinking) took place in Cambridge, UK (April 8th-11th, 2010).
Next G20 summit is to be held in Toronto, June 26-27th (2010). WE must all THINK AHEAD !
Listening to Akerlof's theory of 'animal spirits', I can't help remembering that our greatest founding economist, Adam Smith, himself thought his major work was never 'The Wealth of Nations', but his 'Theory of Moral Sentiments'... (in our day and age, SO often overlooked!).
That Adam Smith is being talked about again is perhaps the best thing that's happened to economics, in the last 20-30 years.
