  • How do you get rid of the water after cooking? I always pay attention to the very small steps on recipes.

    To add a fish flavor, I would boil with seaweed...just an idea...need to give it a try.

  • @flasp11 The water goes away through cooking and stirring and being absorbed by the tvp. Adjust the amount of water you use to get the right consistency.

    it's ok, but I will say that you have to rinse about 3 times and that will take the odd taste- then you flavor it and it has a great taste then you cant tell the difference. be patient and willing to learn and you will love tvp
