This is going to work in my VW TDI to increase the mileage. I have tested it before and I got between 10-20% increase in mileage. The high mmw (6-8mmw) cell never gived any results in my car. But this simple 2 plate HOT HHO Steam cell did? Weird, ha?

This is the upgrade of the cell with automatic refillsystem and more isolated to create steam quicker. The isolation also does that the amount of water in the cell is less than before, and therefore even quicker can heat up.

I am also experimenting with a simple humidifier in my car, to see if cold vapour can do the job also. It feels like I get more horsepower with that too, but I am not sure about so much MPG gains.. But I haven't tested it so much yet. I will also try with microwaved tapwater to see if that will help more as cold vapour than redular tapwater.

  • Good work. Why don't you try using a steam machine hooked to an inverter to make the steam? I have a small steam machine i thought about hooking up to the intake but never tried it. It draws 800W ac power. Keep up the good work.

    A 800w steamer might be too big a load on the cars generator? 800/12=67-70amps.. But then you could get steam immediately :)

    My cell with my new updates takes about 10 min to heat up to maximum, but it becomes quite hot after 5 min.

    It's my goal to have it produce steam as quick as possible with the least amount of amps.

  • Is increasing NOx emmissions due to lowered piston/engine temperature?

    I have tried to do what you have suggested, with a copertubecoil with collantwater, inside a watercontainer, and connected to to the pcv intake. But I didn't see any increase in mileage.

    But perhaps the combination of HHO and hot steam works better?

  • I believe the increased NOx is from increased combustion temps and compression.

    I'd stay away fom connecting to the PCV system. Hook it to the brake booster vacuum. Just my 2 cents. You may not have been injecting enough steam??? Although, too much steam can ruin the engine. Be careful.

    When it comes to diesels and turbodiesels, they have no vaccum from the manifold. They have instead an extra vaccumpump driven by the engine.

    I have now the hose from the HHO Steamer Cell into the intake hose, between the MAF sensor and the turbo.

    I have also mounted a tabletennisball on the end of the HHO hose, inside the intake hose. It has small holes drilled around the "belly" in a line. It seems like it doesn't affect the airstream too much, but it makes a greater vacuum.

  • Steam injection will get you better gas mileage, but you dont have to use electrolysis to get the steam. You can circulate coolant through a copper coil in a sealed container to achieve the steam. You can also apply manifold vacuum to the container to lower the boiling point of the water. If you use the heat from the coolant instead of electrolysis you dont put an additional load on the alternator and engine. Unfortunately steam injection will increase your NOx emmissions.
