Unbelievable what went on back in the dark ages, have seen some horror stories on utube that is seen to be believed, how can some people call them selves human beings and carry out such atrocities, what goes around comes around truly believe in that saying.

My father was admonished by his superiors for offering to give two negro soldiers a ride in his jeep in 1952. Since my father was raised in a community which included persons of color...he saw no fault in offering those soldiers a lift as they were tired and needed a ride. still he was reprimanded by his commanding officer. Since I was raised in a bi-racial community...I asked my Daddy why did they do that to you...the only thing my Daddy could say is change will come son...change will come

@alicouey Unfortunately, as a white male, I know the only way forward is back... back through the history such as this terrible incident that instructs me (and hopefully others) how things became as they are. There is no "STOP THIS!" available. We are not yet one people. What has happened since President Obama was elected illustrates that fact all too thoroughly, all too sadly. We have different names for things now... not racial categories any more but things like "socialist" or "Kenyan." Sad.

@chukie93 ok your ignorant. this young man is engaged in a learning activity that recreates history and some the things we had to endure. Its history!!! And in order to create a furture for our youth we must encourage then to learn and embrace their past. Good and Bad.

@alicouey Uh, how could this death have "happened to be because of race" if - as you claim - RACE is a false category (or, to put in it the false words of other members of the extreme left 'race does not exist'). This is obviously not true. Until we can learn to deal with reality, we can't really even begin to discuss this subject, can we?

@LuckyBlueEyez Its hard trying to let go, when there's organizations out there constantly reminding you of the past!
To this day, our legal system is still jim crow.
Minority bad boys gets longer sentences than their white bad boy counter parts.
I know, life isn't fair. However, at the same time we must not turn a blind eye on the simple fact.
The more things change, The more things stay the same:
STOP THIS! I am a young woman born and raised in Mississippi, and I can't stand it when no one sees the truth. RACE is a false category established to promote superiority of one group of people.
Are we really going to come to this? Years of pain and suffering have turned into people believing this propaganda. We are one people, we are united, we are dealing with the same problems in every category! My middle class is like your middle class. The same haves and have nots. Come on, people.
