@BDill03 Actually we can eat it raw, it just can lead to us being poisoned, not because it is raw, it is because we are basically the bottom of the food chain naturally, our immune systems are pretty lame by themselves. You can eat meat raw not ideal obviously. Hence sushi is raw fish which is a type of meat.

I eat meat but just wanted to add that humans are actually herbivores, if we ate meat in it's natural state (ie:raw) we wouldn't be able to process it and would eventually die. Human teeth and jaws aren't built like other meat eaters.

It's because we have evolved enough to be able to cook meat that were able to eat it and survive on it.
